In early March, three school members from the School of Education had the chance to journey to Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, to experience the tradition, go to the colleges there, and propose ideas for supporting the group. By integrating Access’ successful graduate help packages into the SLU School of Education, the partnership goals to raised serve Academy college students throughout St. Louis. The School of Education at Saint Louis University has recently partnered with Access Academies to assist provide summer season tutors for his or her Summer Bridge Program, which goals to help current 8th grade graduates from native colleges. Since the start of August, Saint Louis University’s School of Education has had the opportunity to work with Confluence Preparatory Academy to construct a program to tutor incoming first-year high school students in math.
